Why it runs on your computer
The safest place for your prospect list is the one we cannot reach.
Almost every tool in this category is a website you log into. Your businesses, your conversations and your clients sit on their servers. That is convenient for them and it is a risk you carry: their breach is your breach, their outage is your outage, and their pricing change is your pricing change.
Orbyco is a desktop app. It installs on your machine, stores its database as a file on your disk, and talks to Google and your chosen AI model directly using your own keys. Nothing routes through us. There is no account, no cloud sync and no server holding a copy — not as a policy we could quietly change, but as a fact of how it is built.
It is also cheaper for you. Because your API usage goes straight to Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, we never see it and never mark it up. You pay roughly $5–15 a month for the model, on your own account, and you can audit every call.
The honest trade-off: your data lives on one machine, so a dead disk takes it with everything else. Orbyco exports a full backup from Settings, and you should use it.
Who this is for.
Digital agencies and freelancers of one to five people who sell websites, ads and SEO to local businesses. Most of our readers are in Pakistan, India, the UAE, the UK and North America.
